Final Year Project

Project Title

Robotic Gardening Assistant

Description

Scorching heat during the summer when the temperatures can go in excess of 50°C makes it difficult to maintain lawns and gardens. To counter this issue, for this capstone design project we have developed a mini robot called “MaliBot” which comprises of an Arduino-controlled system that can make lawn maintenance easy by automating the process of trimming the grass and watering the lawn at regular intervals. The robot makes use of ultra-sonic sensors, rain sensors, electronics valves, and encoders to ensure that a fully automated gardening experience is delivered. This is a joint project with Areeba Aziz Rajput and Rabeea Saleem.
